Mark has also toured with the Utah symphony narrating “Peter and the Wolf” and appeared as their guest storyteller for several Lollipops concerts at Abravanel Hall.Īs a professional actor, Mark has appeared at most of the major theatres in Utah. organizations to perform throughout the valley at school assemblies, has toured libraries and schools with his “Bit O’ Blarney” Irish tales and is the featured entertainer at countless parties and events. He was chosen by the Young Audiences and Arts Inc. He has performed at numerous venues throughout Utah and Idaho including First night, the Vernal and Weber State Storytelling Festivals, The Scandinavian Festival, the Park City Balloon Festival, and many years at the Timpanogos Festival. Mark Gollaher is a founding member of the Wasatch Chapter of the Utah Storytelling Guild. Her greatest joy is watching her audiences and readers make connections with different cultures and experiences, then remember their own stories. Haunted Salt Lake City, Spooks and Saints, and the recently released, Ghostly Tales of Salt Lake City for the middle-grades. She has a passion for healing and inspirational stories that she is often privileged to share in schools, prisons, rehab facilities, and with youth-in-custody. She is known for bringing various cultures alive to audiences around the world. ![]() In addition to being creator, and director of Story Tours: Ogden and SLC Ghost Tours, Hysterical History Tours, and custom storytelling concerts, Kristen has circled the globe as a storyteller, actor, writer, teacher, and perpetual student. As she began interviewing the merchants and residents of Northern Utah, she came across the usual tales of pioneers, immigrants, hardships, and survival, but was surprised to hear many bizarre and interesting ghost stories among them. ![]() ![]() Impressed by Utah's rich culture and history, Kristen set out to study its stories.
